Tapis ancien Persan Sultanabad fait main 303cm x 396cm

Tapis ancien Persan Sultanabad fait main Français -bon état, restauré, -date approximative: , -taille: 303cm x 396cm, -matière: laine, -pays d' origine: Perse, -style: Sultanabad, -couleurs: beige, rouge, bleu ciel, bleu nuit, vert olive. English Hand made antique Sultanabaad rug in original condition. The rug has very deep red color on the background and paisley design motif on the field and on the beige border. The colors combines very well with each other and creates very schick look. The rug was restored and now in good condition. No holes, stains or oddor. The city of Sultanabaad (now known as Arak) was founded in to become the major center of rug production in Persia. Sultanabad carpets are distinguished as the highest quality of Mahal productions manufactured in the Arak region. Other types of Sultanabad designs may include production from Mushkabaad. Ferahaans and Surouuks were also made in the Arak region, though are wholly different. Beginning in the second half of the nineteenth century, a large increase in demand for Persian rugs by Western consumers transformed a millennia old art form. During the late 19th century, in , the Manchester, England, based Anglo-Swiss firm of Ziegler & Co. established a manufactory, the sole objective of which was to produce Sultanabad rugs to meet western tastes and demands. Western designers modified classical Persian designs, marking the first time westerners directly affected Persian designs (beyond influence through market demand). In step with the beginning of the Arts and Crafts Movement, Ziegler modified designs to be larger size, along with a larger rug size to suit western room specifications. Arak's palette changed, as colors were softened in an effort to appeal to housewives of Europe and America. Most similar to the Sultanabads are Heeriiz and Seeraapi rugs; this similarity being attributed to the magnificent graphic character of the designs. Yet within this similarity, the line work of the Heeriiz/Seerapiis is always more curvilinear and classical. Sultanabads share with Persian rugs all-over designs of palmettes and vinescrolls, but as they use a larger, suppler weave, the Sultanabad designs tend to be larger as well. The most popular color of the Sultanabad repertoire was a deep rose red. The red dye was created by bathing wool for two days in madder and whey after which it was scoured for nearly another two days with running water. -condition: restored, good, -circa: , -size: 9.10' x cm x 396cm), -material: wool, -country of origin: Persia, -style: Sultanabad, -background colors: beige, red, sky blue, night blue, olive green. #1B458 One Royal Art Nous expédions habituellement sous 3-7  jours ouvrables par Colissimo ou UPS. The rug is prayer with beige background and burgundy corners. The rug has design of the "Tree of Life" which indicated life and prosperity. Very nice soft shades might lighten up your room. It is in original condition, has some low pile.  The design pattern of Kermaan carpets are also a distinct feature. Vase carpets, a type of Kermaan rug distinctive of the 16th and 17th centuries, are characterized by an allover pattern of stylized flowers and oversized palmettes with vases placed throughout the field. Another rare and distinct variation of Kermaan carpets is the Lavaar or Ravaar Kermaan. Although Lavaar is the improper name, some are still labeled as such. These carpets were produced in Ravaar villagenext to Kermaan city in the northern region, and are known particularly for their fine weave and elegant, classically derived design of allover and central medallion formats. Antique Persian Kermaan Rug Whether Ravaar Kermaan or Kermaan, these antique rugs can boast fine woven reproductions of European paintings, as well as curvilinear, dense allover floral patterns. Floral patterns woven into Kermaan carpets are derivative of shawls for which Kermaan was also the center of producing in the early to mid- 19th century. Most Ravaar or Lavaar Kermaan carpets include a signature, either that of the weaver or to whom the carpet was woven for. It is important to note, however, that there is no one design or style of Kermaan rug that is vastly more popular than any other. Because of the tremendous demand for rugs produced in Kermaan, and because of the complex demographics of those generating the demand, a surprising variety of styles and designs were produced. While some Kermaan rugs were woven explicitly for monied buyers from the West, there were of course local consumers as well. -condition: original, little low pile, -circa: , -size: 2.10' x cm x 146cm), -material: wool, -country of origin: Persia, -style: Kermaan Lavaar, -background colours: beige, burgundy, blue. * #1B525 One Royal Art Nous expédions habituellement sous 3-7  jours ouvrables par Colissimo ou UPS. The rug has beautiful navy blue field and with colorful floral design in red, orange and olive green shades. The rug is very bright and might bright colors to any room. The condition is original good, has full pile and no wear. Antique Malayer Rugs - Antique rugs from the Malayer region embody an angular northwestern style that is best defined by its diversity in style and color. Malayer is a city and an eponymous county located within the province of Hamadaan. It is located between Arakaand the city of Hamadaan. Local weavers produced a spectacular array of traditional patterns ranging from dense allover motifs to lozenge-shaped medallions that are placed over chic monochromatic grounds. Although angular motifs are favored, some of the finer Herati patterns feature subtle curvilinear details. One of the charming constants of antique Malayer rugs is the importance placed on creating richly detailed borders that rival the spectacular patterns featured within the field. Weavers in Malayer consistently put great effort into creating exquisite borders. Regional weavers generally produced smaller area rugs and runners although larger room-sized rugs were created on commission. The colors and patterns of antique Malayer rugs are rich and varied. Tiny boteh motifs are often used to create tremendous allover patterns. However, large-scale arabesques with curvilinear vinescrolls are sometimes found. Today is an excellent time to invest in antique Malayer rugs because they are just now gaining the popularity and recognition they deserve. Antique rugs from the Malayer region constitute an important and distinctive group of Persian weavings. Technically they stand between those made in nearbySenneh and Hamadaan. They were produced in a range of medallion and allover designs which, although they come from classical Persian sources, tend to be somewhat abstract or geometricized in their rendering. Sometimes Malayer carpet designs can utilize small-scale and fine forms like the Heraati pattern, but they can also combine such features with larger composition schemes and the use of open, empty space. Their coloration is generally soft but varied. Malayer rugs have a quiet formality and reserve that makes them excellent decorative pieces for elegant settings. -condition: original good, -circa: , -size: 5.5' x cm x 356cm), -material: wool, -country of origin: Persia, -style: Malayer, -background colours: blue, red, beige, orange, olive green. #1C323 One Royal Art Nous expédions habituellement sous 3-7 jours ouvrables par Colissimo ou UPS. The mat made in bright red colour with beautiful border in sky blue and yellow shades. "The tree of life" design illustrated on this mat: little tree with different birds and animals around it. This design normally represents a life force in the world. The rug is in original condition, has a little moths damage. Different types of carpets were made here, including pile and flat-weave, with simple and complex composition. The carpet making art was passed on from generation to generation and was considered the most valued heirloom. The traditional topics for the Tebriiz carpets are the ornamental patterns, with the following dominant background colors: cream, red or navy blue. The most typical for this school are rugs and carpets grouped under the common name “Lachakk turanjj”. In the middle of the center field and in the corners of the carpet (“lachak”-triangle) there are “turanj”-Citron). The turanj in the center of the carpet is a symbol of the Moon, and the pattern formed by lozenges with the toothed leaves on the edges symbolizes the scales of the fish, which rise to the surface of the water at midnight to admire the Moon reflection. The origin of this composition dates back to the 9th-10th centuries. Often the topics for the Tebriiz carpets are drawn from the works of the great Oriental poets. The carpets often depict the scenes of falconry or images of a ferocious lion. Well known are also Tebriiz carpet-pictures with images of fragments of palaces and mosques, scenes of battles. Often, in creation of this or that ornamental pattern carpet weavers were inspired by the hand-painted covers of ancient books. -condition: original good, little moths damage, -circa: , -size: 1.5' x cm x 54cm), -material: wool, -country of origin: Persia, -style: Tebriiz, -background colors: red, pink, yellow, sky blue, beige, brown. #1C383 One Royal Art Nous expédions habituellement sous 3-7  jours ouvrables par Colissimo ou UPS.
