Made in fine blue and white check silk with a tall crown and drop brim. An incredible red rose made completely of feathers sits to the front (see close up image). The shaping is beautiful and the look very feminine. The hat is wearable but the silk is fragile and care would be needed. There are signs of age as you would expect with a hat of this kind but overall it is lovely and wears and displays to great effect.
